Title: Mojipittan
Part : 1
Author : Patricia Selina
Rating : G
Characters : Yamapi, Kumiko Hanataba *fictional*, Yoko Nekoouji *fictional*, etc.

~~~
Plot:
The world we live in now is the "main world". With every fictional book, manga, or dorama made in the main world, a new world is made that orbits it. No-one has ever known about the existence of these parallel universes - until now.
Kumiko Hanataba, the goddaughter (and sidekick) of famed magician Yoko Nekoouji, is an sorceress-in-training who creates more trouble than help for her godmother. Her parents send her to Tokyo for magic training and Tokyo University cram schools. However, her mind is more focused on meeting her idol crush, and her magic skills wreck everything in her way.
Her life is all school and training and fangirl-ness, all is normal and good, until her idol, Yamashita Tomohisa himself, goes to Yoko for help. It seems that bit by bit, the cutie's health is getting worse, and no doctor has a clue to what's going on. Thus, left with no choice, he asks Yoko what to do.
Unfortunately, Yoko does not have the power to open the portals of the alternate worlds. Guess who can? Clumsy fangirl Kumiko Hanataba to the rescue!
~~~

Part 1-1: Hajime

*Kumiko's POV*

Hello. My name is Kumiko Hanataba. And this is my life. Right now, I'm boarding with the world-famous magician Yoko Nekoouji. She can grant wishes, so it's Aladdin's dream come true! Unfortunately for me...

"Kumiko! Time for training!"

...she's my godmother, and I have to study magic under her.

"Yoko-neesan." I call her neesan. She doesn't like me calling her "godmother". "What kind of trouble will you put me through now?"

"Okay Kumiko dear, our lesson today is about how to fly."

Darn! If only flying was as easy as Cardcaptor Sakura portrayed it to be!

"Let go of your inhibitions. Imagine wings sprouting from your back..."

It would be easier to make YamaPi come here than to fly. I couldn't even fly a millimeter above the ground. I'm too heavy for that.

By the way, YamaPi is Yamashita Tomohisa. He's a famous idol singer-actor. And by the way, he's my daisuki no hito.

"KUMIKO!"

Ah! Time to snap out of my fangirlish thoughts. I'm gonna be in trouble this time... I flash Yoko-neesan my cutest "please-don't-hate-me" smile.

As Yoko-neesan charges to hit me, the doorbell rings. I sigh in relief.

"Kumiko... we'll continue this tomorrow. Answer the door." Yoko-neesan goes in the house to chane into her sorceress' dress.

"Hai!" I run to the door. I slide the shoji door and unlock the gate, saying my bubbliest "Irrashaimase!". Since my magic basically sucks, Yoko-neesan told me to just accomodate the coustomers while she slips into her 'working' dress. Basically, I put on my cutest face and everyone keeps coming back for Yoko's help and my tea conversations.

When I finally recognize who's at the door...

...I faint.

~~~
Part 1-2: Okyaku-sama
*Normal POV*
Yoko wore a long purple furisode with sakura blossom designs and an intricately-tied obi. She let down her long brown hair, free from any accessory but a glittering butterfly clip. As she lifted her skirt in a curtsey, one could she that she was wearing three-inch heels.
"Irrashaimase, okyaku-sama." she said to the young man sitting on the couch. "Sorry for my goddaughter's actions."
"It's okay." The young man was probably in his early twenties. He wore a simple t-shirt and jeans, his sharply angled bangs falling over his eyes, which were covered by thick black shades. "So you are Nekoouji-sama? I've heard lots of things about you, but you look nothing like what I expected you to be."
"Well, I'm a big surprise." Yoko sat on the chair facing the handsome customer. "Kumiko should be here now with the tea."
"Sumimasen..." A red face peeked out from the shoji of Yoko's 'office'. Kumiko had clearly changed into another outfit from her basic T-shirt-and-jeans ensemble. She wore a white peasant blouse with an orange knee-length skirt. "Here's your tea..." She served the tea and her homemade Castella cake to the other two. "Excuse me..." she mumbled, still blushing as she began to race out the door.
"Wait." Yoko motioned the blushing Kumiko to sit down, beside the customer. Kumiko blushed harder and sat.
"So, bishonen. What would your name be?" Yoko smiled, sipping her tea.
"My name is... Yamashita Tomohisa." the cutomer repiled, taking off his shades.
Yoko began to chuckle. "Ahh... So you're the YamaPi my goddaughter's been talking about huh? I never imagined you'd come here..."
Kumiko blushed even harder. "neesan..."
"Don't worry, Tomohisa-kun. Kumiko isn't always this flustered."
He laughed. "It's not a problem Nekoouji-sama."
"Just call me Yoko-san." She winked. Kumiko's vein popped at the idea of her godmother flirting with her crush.
"Anyway, Tomohisa-kun... why did you come here."
"Ano..."
A long pause enveloped the three of them.
"I think I may be dying."
~~~

Part 1-3: Tasukete

*Kumiko's POV*

"I think I may be dying."

WHAAAT?!?!?

My life has compleletely been thrown off-balance in thirty minutes.

First, super hottie YamaPI drops by asking for Yoko-neesan's help. Thus, I faint.

Next, Yoko tells him how much I talk about him. Thus, I'm completely embarrased.

And now that I think I may have a 0.00000000000000001% chance of getting to know him more, he tells us he might be dying. Thus, I flip out.

Why do bad things happen to good people, I sigh.

"I've asked many doctors, both here and abroad. Nobody knows. But what I do know is that I only have a few months to live. You're my last chance, Yoko-san."

"Tomohisa-san."

"Hai?"

"Have you starred in many doramas?"

"Hai... demo..."

"Have any of your characters not fulfilled their desires?"

"Maybe..."

"Then that's it. Tomohisa-kun, I will show you something no other normal humans know. Follow me."

"E-hem." I cough. I won't allow her to leave me out this time!

"Okay, Kumiko too. The three of us hold hands - we might get seperated."

YamaPi offers his hand and gives me a million-dollar smile. I can feel the crowd inside me cheering in delight!

Neesan mutters some kind of incantation and what seemed to be her office turn into... the universe. A black nothingness. We zoom into the Milky Way, then the solar system, and then Earth. The moon seems to be the only one orbiting it that isn't a satelite, I thought.

As if she read my thoughts, neesan told me "Chigaimasu." She muttered another incantation and small satilities, that seem like smaller versions of Earth, begin to take shape and orbit the Earth.

"The world we live in now is the "main world". With every fictional book, manga, or dorama made in the main world, a new world is made that orbits it. No-one has ever known about the existence of these parallel universes - except me."

"Why are these worlds made?" YamaPi asked. I blush just hearing his voice. Any girl would kill to be holding his hand!

"Because for a story to be real, the world needs to adjust itself. Since the main world - our world - can't be changed, invisible copies of Earth are made to allow these adjustments. As you are an actor, it is possible that you have many copies of yourself on these worlds."

I fantasize. A world full of YamaPis! That'd be heaven~

Yoko-neesan mutters another incantation, and we are sent back to our world, back to reality.

"Every actor leaves a part of himself on the characters he plays." Yoko-neesan tells a very much listening YamaPi. "You left a part of your soul on those characters. Some of your characters cannot fulfill their goals, like end up with the girl he wants to and such. That part of you is rotting away; that is the problem."

YamaPi looked clueless, so neesan continued on. "If one part of you is dying, you would gradually cease to exist. There is only one way to save your life."

~~~
Part 1-4: Sekai
*Normal POV*
"If one part of you is dying, you would gradually cease to exist. There is only one way to save your life."
"What is it, Yoko-san."
"Someone needs to go to those parallel worlds, guide your character along the way to his true happiness, and bring the revived parts of your soul back to you."
"Could I do it?"
"No Tomohisa-san. There cannot be two of you on one world."
"Could Yoko-san do it?"
"Unfortunately, no. I know of only one person capable of travelling back and forth to those worlds."
"Who is it?'
"She is..."
Yoko smiled at her goddaughter.
"...here with us."
Long silence.
"EHHH!?!?!?" Kumiko began saying a lot of things at a machine gun pace. "YOKO-NEESAN!!! You know I can't fly but you ask me to be YamaPI's savior? I'd be too pressured with his life on my shoulders! If anything happens to him 'coz of me, I won't forgive myself! And what's with this 'only-one-who-can-travel' thing, huh? I don't even know how to do a simple spell! I'm downright ordinary!!!"
"CHIGAIMASEN!"
Yoko's cry startled YamaPi and Kumiko. "Chigaimasu, Kumiko, desipite what anime says, on this world. You are the only one capable of doing this. You are the only one who could help him."
Kumiko blushed.
"And no, you aren't ordinary." Yoko smiled. "You are my protégée, aren't you?"
"Demo... Yamashita-sama... If I fail..."
YamaPi ruffled her orange hair and smiled.
"You won't fail. Zutto."
A spark of confidence went off in Kumiko's body.
"Since Tomohisa-kun's a first time customer, and he's so cute~" Kumiko glared at her godmother. "...he'll be helped, free of charged!"
"Arigatou gozaimasu, Yoko-san!"
"And Kumiko, it's time for you to fulfill your mission."
"Hai!"
~~~

Part 1-5: Boken

*Normal POV*

"And Kumiko, it's time for you to fulfill your mission."

"Hai!" YamaPi smiled at Kumiko. She might be his savior.

"Wear this." Yoko gave Kumiko a ruby ring. "Use this to communicate with me. Just put it in front of a reflective surface and say, 'Mojipittan'."

"Why 'Mojipittan'?" Kumiko asked.

"Hi-mi-tsu. Now, Kumiko repeat after me."

"Okay, neesan."

"Different worlds..."

"Different worlds..."

"...that came from one..."

"...that came from one..."

"...open your portals..."

"...open your portals..."

"...and send me to where I desire..."

"...and send me to where I desire..."

"...blank."

"Ehh?"

"Kumiko, tell them which dorama of his you'd want to go to. And end it with a 'mojipittan'. Now, repeat it all over again, as your 'Ehh?' has broken the spell." Yoko smireked.

"Okay... different worlds that came from one, open your portals and send me to where I desire..."

Thinking back, Kumiko said the farthest YamaPi drama she had watched.

"...Lunch... no Joou. Mojipittan!"

As she vanished into space, she could hear YamaPi calling out to her.

"Ganbatte Kumiko-san!"
